Welcome to Changing Tides Bed and Breakfast.
Located at 6627 Highway 207, 30 min from Halifax / Dartmouth in the village of Grand Desert. Highway 207 is part of the Picturesque Marine Drive Tourist Route, famous for its beaches and Maritime History. Grand Desert and Chezzetcook, through the work of Interested Community Members has done a lot to preserve the heritage of the area. Primarily an Acadian community, that has lived off what the land and sea has provided for hundreds of years, we are now ready to welcome others to enjoy with us the pleasures of being on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. You are never far from a beach or other shoreline vista as you travel to the Acadia House Museum, Fishermans Preserve or other nearby attractions.
Changing Tides has been designed with the traveler in mind. The main rooms in this home as well as guest rooms all have a full view of the Chezzetcook Inlet. At low tide the views are of salt marshes, channels and clam flats. When the tide comes in the views are changed to ocean front. You will awaken to the sound of songbirds and be entertained all day by the marine birds and wildlife. Each large guest room has a private four piece bath and a queen sized bed.
